About Scattered Seeds...a flower farm
I am a flower farmer/florist specializing in beautiful cut flowers, foliages and textures. I love creating seasonally inspired bouquets as well as designing for weddings and offering workshops. I am located on a 23 acre property that I share with 'Pine Creek Farms and Nursery', and our wedding venue 'Events at Pine Creek Nursery'. The farm has become a popular place for photographers to do photo sessions, which I am passionate about! Creating beautiful spaces that frame subjects with lovely backdrops:) Who doesn't love pictures with flowers!

Monroe is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. Getting around Monroe is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Washington's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Truly such a lovely location. I booked this for a senior portrait client completely sight unseen based on other photographers work I had seen online. When we arrived I was blown away by the beauty, care and plethora of locations and areas in which to take photos. What a wonderful experience - my clients were in love and I’m so happy with how the photos turned out and for having ability to rent and use such a magical place. I only wish it were closer to me!! I can only imagine it is beautiful year round and cannot wait to check it out in other seasons.

Amazing! Months ago Gwen suggested doing a “flower party” for my daughter’s bridal party the day of the rehearsal, I didn’t know what that would really mean but I agreed and I am so glad I did!! Gwen and Isabella put together a breathtaking selection of flowers Everything was incredibly fresh and fragrant. The whole space was gorgeous and smelled like a dream. The entire experience was incredible! But what really set it apart was Gwen and Isabella, who guided us through every snip and stem placement without making anyone feel like they didn’t belong and then stepped back while we got to create. The majority of our party had no floral experience (12 people) and everyone made beautiful bouquets and to die for bud vases fit for the wedding. Everyone had a fabulous time and it was a great opportunity for the bridesmaids and family to mingle and visit in a no pressure atmosphere. 10/10

I recently had the opportunity to shoot a high school senior photo session at Scattered Seeds Nursery. The number of amazing, colorful settings is terrific. Gwen, the owner, gave me a pre-session tour that was most helpful in identifying the best locations. The nursery (Events at Pine Creek) is also a wedding venue, which as a wedding photographer, can see the stunning possibilities for fantastic wedding photos.

Working with Gwen for our wedding florals was a wonderful experience. From day one she was professional and incredibly passionate about creating exactly what we were envisioning. The final product of wedding party bouquets and boutonnieres, table arrangements and cedar garland were stunning and reasonably priced. Highly recommend! Photos: Jamie Buckley

Where do I begin? Gwen is amazing. The most incredible and talented florist/flower farmer I’ve ever met. Her eye for beautiful florals is unmatched. From bouquets, boutonnières, and corsages, to flower crowns and more, she is the greatest. I am a wedding photographer. I have used Gwen not only for my own wedding, but referred her out to hundreds of my couples because I trust she will do a great job. She is the florist at every styled shoot I do, and she always far exceeds my expectations! Any shoot I have that requires flowers, Gwen is my only go to. In the wedding and service industry it is challenging to be perfect. Everyone has hiccups every now and again. But I can honestly say that in the countless times I’ve had the pleasure of working with Gwen, I have never, ever, EVER received a product I didn’t love. I have photographed in her flower fields, around her beautiful venue, and it is always perfect. You get the most for your money when using Gwen as your florist. She puts her all in to each and every masterpiece she creates. And on top of being the sweetest person to ever walk this earth, she’s just an all around great florist. Work with Gwen, reach out to her today and trust
